Responsibilities:

* Managing Accounts Payable processes from voucher to check run.
* Ensuring accurate allocation to appropriate accounting periods, companies, and G/L accounts.
* Enforcing compliance with company procedures for purchase orders while processing payments for vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
* Collaborating on the development of an accounts payable manual and continually refining policies and procedures.
* Serving as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and issue resolution.
* Reconciling vendor statements and following up on outstanding invoices.
* Completing month-end balance sheet reconciliations and related journal entries.
* Preparing and distributing year-end 1099 forms.
* Assisting external auditors and other stakeholders with Accounts Payable requests.
* Acting as the primary contact for ERP system upgrades.
* Supporting special projects and management/divisional needs.

Requirements:

* Associate's degree required.
* Three to five years of similar Accounts Payable experience in a corporate accounting department.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
* A/S400 experience is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Self-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
* Adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Demonstrated work ethic, initiative, and integrity within a team environment.
* Reliability in attendance and self-motivation.
* Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
