The Diez Group Kansas City is a tier one manufacturing supplier of blanked material. We are looking for a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Planner to join our team. Your position will focus on the planning and scheduling of Planned maintenance, corrective maintenance work orders and maintaining of critical spare parts inventory.

The Diez Group is a Hispanic owned minority business that believes in on time delivery of high-quality products at a competitive price to its customers.

Pay $19-$21.00 per hour based on experience

Summary/Objective

Your position as the CMMS Maintenance Planner / Scheduler will be responsible for the development and documentation of asset management and the scheduling of Planned and corrective maintenance in the Kansas City manufacturing plant. This includes vendor acquisition for critical spares for all equipment to ensure peak uptime. Have the ability to interpret blue prints, drawings and technical documentation. You must observe workplace safety rules and guidelines. Prior experience is a manufacturing environment is a plus. You must be able to interpret written instructions, stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout a normal shift. Exercise sound judgment in decision-making.

Essential Functions

* Conduct data entry for all work orders.
* Order and track maintenance related spares, parts as required.
* Collaborate with all departments to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
* Develop critical spares for plant equipment.
* Establish planned maintenance procedures.
* Maintain the inventory counts for all on hand spares and generate tracking reports.
* Performing inventory investigations when needed or required.
* Maintain chemical inventories so as not to exceed storage limits.
* Oversee and track all vendor supply shipments,
* Assist in the development of departmental SOP's
* Provide customer service/focus as needed.
* Encourage a culture of safety compliance.
* Other duties as assigned by the maintenance manager

Requirements

Qualifications

* Professional crane operator certification a plus
* Ability to be licensed to operate powered industrial equipment (Fork Lift, crane, manlift)
* Able to effectively communicate problems, root cause and corrective actions needed to upper management and support staff
* Perform all work in an ethical manner
* Adhere to attendance policy
* Had previous experience with accounting functions such as Purchase orders and invoice tracking.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job primarily operates in a plant floor environment and required the use of PPE. The job will also require working in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those essential functions that must be successfully performed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, ascending/descending stairs, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
