Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining the organization's Compliance Program. Performs compliance reporting, leads special projects, and develops and implements compliance auditing and monitoring strategies.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

1. Serves as the main compliance point of contact for routine interactions with DMHC, DHCS, other regulatory agencies and plan partners.

2. Serves as the main point of contact for staff on routine compliance issues and questions.

3. Receives, summarizes and catalogues regulatory updates and other communication on a timely basis.

4. Assists in developing and maintaining policies and procedures, including coordinating the design, review, approval, cataloging and dissemination.

5. Be at work and be on time

6. Follow company policies, procedures and directives

7. Interact in a positive and constructive manner

8. Prioritize and multitask

* Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

* 3 years of related experience in compliance privacy and/or regulatory affairs.
* Experience in project management with working knowledge of laws and/or regulations in area of compliance, in particular HIPAA, and state regulations.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
