Job Summary: Responsible for leading the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) initiatives to ensure continual improvement in HSE performance, achieving and maintaining high levels of operational compliance with regulatory, business, and other requirements, and promoting and maintaining safe healthy work environments for all employees.

Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

* Assists in the development and maintenance of web based HSE databases for respective region, including but not limited to employee set-up in training database, event entry in incident tracking database, SDS administration in hazard communication database, and data entry in customer required databases.
* Promotes a learning culture within the business to reduce the HSE risks and ensure a safe and compliant work environments for associates.
* Design and deliver training and competence assurance materials based on HSE policies, procedures, and work instructions for all levels in the organization.
* Ensure HSE corrective actions are completed and closed in a timely manner for facilities within respected region.
* Participate in the technical and resource planning of HSE initiatives and support line management to fulfill their HSE duties.
* Participate in HSE shop and field workplace inspections, behavior-based observations and HSE MS audits to identify HSE nonconformities, defects, and system deficiencies.
* Must travel to job sites during the workday to evaluate safety performance and give feedback.
* Facilitates learning events for significant events and injury cases.
* Reinforces safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and improves enthusiasm and morale.
* Practices safe work habits and complies with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
* Special projects or assignments as directed by management.

Education, Training, Experience: University degree (BS or AS) in in technical field (engineering/science, environmental science, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, and health sciences) 1 - 5 years of experience in an HSE compliance role preferably within an Oil & Gas Service company; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: None Required

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Working knowledge of HSE Management System Audits; HSE Compliance Audits; Documentation Development, Control & Record Keeping; Human Performance, Incident/Accident Reviews; Injury Case Management; Behavior Based Safety, HSE Training Development & Implementation; Environmental Aspects, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment. Intermediate Computer Skills (proficient in MS Suite Word, Excel PowerPoint). Intermediate Language Skills (must have good technical writing ability), Intermediate Mathematical Skills (proficient in descriptive statistics and basic understanding of inferential statistics) and Intermediate Reasoning Ability (must be a logical thinker who makes good decisions).

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

* Customer's drilling and production locations.
* Normally work is conducted in a field service environment or a shop environment. Some office and desk work is required as necessary and is expected for satisfactory completion of job assignments. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
* Occasionally may be exposed to hazards such as loud noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, chemicals, etc. while working in Engineering laboratory, assembly areas, machine shop and Customer's drilling and production locations.
