Key duties include diagnosing electrical and electronic systems, executing installations, and overseeing well-optimization technologies. This role requires physical endurance for lifting heavy equipment and working in challenging environments, as well as flexibility for additional hours and travel, while strictly adhering to safety and quality protocols. This position merges technical expertise with a commitment to upholding Lufkin's esteemed reputation in the oilfield sector.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master Electrician)
  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
  • Capability to lift 75 lbs and engage in physical tasks in extreme weather

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service Lufkin Automation systems under direct oversight
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical and electronic systems
  • Conduct on-site installations of electrical and electronic systems, including conduits
  • Utilize various electronic tools and equipment, such as auto cranes and stud guns
  • Evaluate and resolve well-optimization challenges independently or with technical support
  • Collaborate with other departments and uphold customer service standards and quality
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures diligently
  • Engage in additional projects as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of experience in electrical work
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills and basic computer knowledge (MS Office Suite)
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage inventory efficiently
  • Experience in the oilfield and familiarity with variable speed drives and automation instrumentation
  • Dedication to maintaining high customer service standards and quality
