Your responsibilities will encompass designing and performing ddPCR experiments, analyzing data, and presenting your findings. How You'll Make An Impact:

* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to design and perform ddPCR experiments targeting human genetic disorders.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of innovative new ddPCR products.
* Produce consistent and reproducible data; documenting experimental designs, observations, and results in electronic databases.
* Effectively summarize the experimental results and regularly present data to R&D and cross-functional teams.

What You Bring:

* Education: Current undergraduate entering senior year at a 4-year university or graduate student specializing in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or a related life science discipline.
* Must have a 3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (on a 4.0 scale).
* College-level understanding of molecular biology, the fundamental principles of PCR, standard laboratory techniques, and general laboratory safety.
* Strong communication skills and ability to summarize and present results in a clear and concise manner.
* Adept at acquiring new skills and highly motivated with excellent time management skills.
* Experience with nucleic acid technology relating to PCR, qPCR, multiplex PCR, and/or digital PCR is a plus.
* Able to work for a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks.

Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $25 at the time of posting.
