- You will utilize critical thinking abilities, impeccable work ethic & effective communication skills to drive assay development for in vitro diagnostic products at the point-of-care.
- ResponsibilitiesConduct and manage research activities in the molecular point-of-care space within the Research and Early Development (RED) organization at Roche Molecular Diagnostics (RMD).
- Recommends new or creative approaches, and/or expansion or curtailment of investigations based on experimental data or new scientific information arising from the molecular point-of-care space.
- Appliesadvanced technical writing skills to produce reports, summaries, presentations, internal technology transfer document, manuscripts,etc.
- Strong expertise with CRISPR technology and other complex systems in the molecular diagnostic applications.
- Extensive experience with nucleic acid-based molecular assay design, optimization and validationExperience handling and testing of viral and bacterial samples preferred.
- Familiarity with developing in-vitro diagnostic assays or products for FDA submission preferred.
