Responsibilities:

* Assemble discrete conveyor equipment by following DWF and assembly procedures.
* Responsible for final system assembly and testing of systems.
* Knowledgeable with hand/power tools, as well as, shears, brakes, saws, milling machines and other fabrication equipment.
* Apply established standards, processes, and procedures to ensure workplace safety and quality.
* Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.
* Capable of reading pneumatic schematics and running airlines.
* Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste.
* Follow the attendance policy of the Department.
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and perform housekeeping duties as required.
* Able to work overtime, flexible schedules, holidays, and weekends as required.

Position Requirements:

* A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* At least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Basic understanding of electrical procedures and strong mechanical aptitude.
* Knowledgeable with use of hand/power tools.
* Must have basic math and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and desire to learn.
* Must have strong attention to detail.
* Must be a self-managed, team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to commit to dynamic schedules and be punctual to work.
* Able to safely work for extended periods of time, mostly standing, beyond an 8-hour workday.
* Ability to lift materials in excess of up to 48 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience working in a Lean environment.
* At least one (1) year of mechanical assembly experience.
* Familiarity with all forms of conveyor line applications.
