As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing conveyor equipment, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble conveyor equipment by following established procedures and guidelines.
- Responsible for final system assembly and testing to ensure quality and functionality.
- Operate hand and power tools, as well as fabrication equipment, to assemble and test equipment.
- Apply established safety protocols and quality control measures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors to identify and address any equipment defects or issues.
- Conserve resources and supplies to minimize waste and optimize production.
- Adhere to attendance policies and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in assembly and testing.
- Basic understanding of electrical procedures and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledgeable with hand and power tools, as well as fabrication equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift materials up to 48 pounds and work for extended periods, mostly standing.
- Previous experience working in a Lean environment.
- At least one year of mechanical assembly experience.
- Familiarity with conveyor line applications.
