The Front Desk Coordinator assists STG in creating a safe workplace, and a welcome environment for staff, guests and vendors. The Front Desk Coordinator will work closely with the Education and Community Engagement Team, and IT Team to best serve our staff and guests. This position earns between $22.00 and $26.50/hour, plus medical, dental, vision, life, ltd, and STD insurance plus 403b with discretionary match.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Create a positive first impression as you greet guests, vendors, and employees.
  • Track all visitors, including vendors, visiting employees and guests
  • Maintain lobby for cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage security access (cards and keys) in partnership with IT and Human Resources
  • Secure premises and personnel by walking property and premises every two hours.
  • Monitor security cameras, access points, and building alarm system and closely monitor security of building doors, service areas and delivery areas for all theatres.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing courier and other packages or mail as required (sorting, shipping & receiving etc.).
  • Demonstrate confidence, professionalism, responsiveness and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Perform other facility management assignments as described by team and manager.
  • Promote safe work practices and serve as a contributor to associate safety initiatives that could include Safety Committee meetings, training, conducting Emergence Response Drills, etc.
  • Permit entry at access points by reviewing badges, IDs, and signing in visitors.
  • Manage Lost & Found for the building
  • Notify employees and tenants when they have guests.
  • Point of contact for participants & tenant communication
  • Complete an incident report for all suspicious activity.
  • Report suspicious activity to Seattle Theatre Group and the Seattle Police Department.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with STG Staff and clients
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.
  • Position may require lifting of over 25 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate in English, good visual acuity, comfortable using a phone and email.
