Description:This position is for a Mid-level Technician whose primary assignment will consist of engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and laboratory operations responsibility. Some climbing on ladders may be required as well as lifting up to 25 pounds, pushing and pulling of electronic equipment on carts, and working on test stations. These responsibilities will include fabrication of harnesses, electronic/electrical chassis and subassembly panels, mechanical rack fabrication, and various modifications to mechanical racks and electronic test stations using development engineering drawings. Ability to visualize and build electronic racks with minimal defects and little to no supervision. Candidate must be capable of working independently and in a team environment and discussing technical issues with Build Lead. Candidate should be able to assist with training junior technicians.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with Electronic knowledge and Electrical/ Mechanical schematic interpretation.

Experience with Hand Soldering and Cable fabrication.

Desired Skills:

Crimping, soldering, basic cable fabrication.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
