Beech Brook is currently hiring an experienced accounts receivable, detail-oriented Billing Assistant/Specialist to join our team. This person will process accounts receivable and monthly invoices in compliance with Beech Brook policies and regulatory bodies. In addition, this person will assist the supervisor and staff in the Finance department with assigned billing and finance tasks and provide backup and support as needed.

EDUCATION:
GED/High school diploma
Essential Responsibilities (others may be assigned):
Process accounts receivable and monthly invoices.
Post payments and research discrepancies.
Assist with Month-End Billing, Commercial Insurance(s) and data entry.
Assure compliance with Beech Brook policies and regulatory standards.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and problem solve.
Demonstrate cultural competency.
Communicate effectively verbally and in written format.
Utilize computer and software programs for documentation/billing/reporting as appropriate.
Follow safety protocols.
Travel to various locations as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Evidence of Position Specific and Organization Competencies
Pervious Billing experience a plus
CPT/ICD-10 Knowledge a plus
Working knowledge of Medicaid and commercial insurance Billing a plus
Clearinghouse experience a plus
Experience using Microsoft Office and comfortable using various computer programs.
Possess basic arithmetic skills.
Detail Oriented
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a team
