Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform clerical functions related to revenue cycle management, including insurance verifications and billing follow-up.
  • Investigate outstanding or pending claims, working to resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of billing information for insurance claims and patient accounts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of billing activities and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with the billing team and other departments to ensure a smooth billing process.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of medical billing and collection practices.
  • Working knowledge of insurance and reimbursement processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, colleagues, and the public.
