Secondary locations Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Kansas City Business unit Lockton-Dunning Series Schedule Full-time Job type Standard Workplace Hybrid Your Responsibilities Lockton Companies is currently seeking a results-oriented Account Manager to join the Integrated Absence Solutions (IAS) team. This role is responsible for supporting Locktons IAS core services with engagements that support the clients disability, life, and absence programs, including long term disability (LTD), short term disability (STD), family & medical leave act (FMLA) and other time away from work solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and constantly strive to improve the client experience. Work directly with internal client teams and manage the request for proposal (RFP) process and renewals with vendor partners, will be client facing as needed. Collect, review and prepare data necessary to prepare and issue RFPs to market for quotes on Life, Disability, and/or Leaves program(s) for multiple client accounts. Distribute RFI/RFPs and coordinate vendor RFI/RFP responses. Conduct qualitative and quantitative comparative analyses for Life, Disability and Leave Administration, and Requests for Proposal. Perform quality control and data validation checks on the various client data sets. Integrate data from multiple data sets into relevant client reports. Project management, managing the quality and timeliness of deliverables; delegates to junior colleagues and reviews their work. Establish & build necessary carrier/vendor relationships with appropriate contacts. Negotiate with vendors to secure clients plan coverage and sustainable pricing. Work with colleagues on client engagements, including supporting the overall delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal, business placement, benchmarking, and other studies. Assist in the review of all agreements and/or documents related to clients Life/Disability coverage and/or Leave Administration services including plan/policy documents and administrative agreements to ensure accuracy and prevent gaps in coverage. Review specific benefit design elements that are outdated and have pricing impacts to current risk and pricing. Coordinate workflow with Senior Account Executive and/or Account Executive. Prepare task lists, reports and presentations as needed. Develop and update tracking for project and client deliverables. Continuous quality improvement on processes, policies, and reporting to improve efficiency and innovation. Other responsibilities as required. Qualifications Bachelors Degree (or relative work experience) required, insurance or business-related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the absence management field, specific experience with group disability/life plans and company leave programs. Underwriting/pricing experience for life and disability group insurance benefits required. Knowledge of Life/AD&D/STD/LTD/LOA plan provisions, contracts, and risk management. Strong analytical and mathematical skills, planning, communication, and listening skills. Ability to project manage high volume of work with IAS team members, internal client teams, clients, and carrier partners. Negotiate marketing and renewal results directly with carriers. Advanced Microsoft Office skills ability to manipulate large volumes of data and macro enabled workbooks in Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) with advanced ability to manipulate large spreadsheets. Understands data sources, processes, formulas and output. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage changing priorities as needed. Ability to perform work accurately and completely in a timely manner. Excellent communication, analytical and critical thinking skills with proven ability to interact with associates and vendors at all levels of responsibility. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize and scale in a fast-paced environment. Legal right to work in the United States.
