Employee Benefits Account Manager

Our growing Benefit Services Department provides comprehensive health and benefits solutions to small and mid-sized companies and individuals. As the Benefit Services team member, you will assist in analyzing and developing solutions for our clients, employers and individuals. This position will give you the opportunity to connect with our clients, utilize your analytical side, attention to detail, need for accuracy and speed, and your creative side with Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Some of the responsibilities for the Employee Benefits Account Manager include:
- Build strong relationships with our clients and carrier partners
- Develop professionally and master benefits solutions
- Manage account information and records with precision and confidentiality
- Enthusiastically engage in company culture and corporate goals
- Handle other duties as assigned, stays flexible
- Houston, Texas
- A passion for helping people
- General Lines Life & Health License (in good standing), a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in health & benefits, required
- Microsoft Office proficient (Advanced Excel & Power Point Skills preferred)
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Fast-learner, curious, and resourceful
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment & transition between tasks seamlessly
- Successful at managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Does not settle for mediocre performance, but strives for excellence
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bi-lingual a plus
