Under the direction of the station manager, the part-time Office Administrator will oversee and maintain the office operations of the station.

Essential Functions

  • Welcome in person guests
  • Answer telephone and direct incoming calls
  • Reply to email, texts, social media messages, and prayer requests
  • Review and update Community Calendar submissions
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Pay invoices in a timely manner giving careful attention to maintaining organized clerical records
  • Collect and prepare WMBW Local Issues Reports for FCC compliance
  • Oversee office supplies for the ministry
  • Provide clerical support for ministry events and initiatives
  • Personal joy in exercising the fruit of the Spirit with listeners and co-workers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to type 40 wpm
  • Able to use a computer, telephone, copier, and fax
  • Strong clerical and administrative skills
  • Able to work in the US legally without sponsorship
Preferred Requirements
  • Some college or experience in related field

This is a part-time position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Minimal local travel is expected for this position. No travel is expected nationwide.

This job operates in a professional broadcasting environment. This role routinely uses standard office and broadcast equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
