Territory Manager

Company Overview
We are a forward-thinking medical device company focused on enhancing patient outcomes at the front lines of healthcare, where early intervention can make a profound impact. Our innovative handheld imaging platform uses light to see through tissue, offering an affordable solution for real-time diagnosis. Our first product on this platform empowers healthcare providers to make better decisions regarding middle ear infections-the leading cause of hearing loss, antibiotic use, and surgeries in children.

Product Overview
Our flagship device is a handheld imager designed to resemble the traditional otoscope, providing a real-time, high-quality view of the middle ear. This non-invasive tool enables providers to visualize beyond the eardrum, offering an unparalleled diagnostic advantage in ear care.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Territory Manager to drive the launch and adoption of our new handheld imaging device. This role offers a unique opportunity for a nursing professional who is eager to transition into medical device sales. You will play a key role in guiding clinics and healthcare providers through the adoption and implementation of our product, improving diagnostic accuracy in pediatric ear care. This role will develop your skills in sales strategy and customer acquisition, combining patient-centered service with new technologies to impact children's health.

Why This Role Is Perfect for Nurses Transitioning to Medical Device
If you have a background in nursing and are looking to leverage your clinical skills in a commercial setting, this role provides a meaningful way to use your experience while developing a new career in medical device sales. This position will enable you to blend your clinical expertise with the latest technology, delivering hands-on demonstrations and supporting healthcare providers in optimizing patient care.

The Ideal Candidate
  • You bring a strong foundation in patient care and clinical expertise.
  • You're motivated to learn new skills, are naturally organized, and enjoy a high level of autonomy.
  • You have a patient-centered mindset and a passion for using technology to improve care.
  • You're enthusiastic about being part of a fast-growing organization and seek a role with growth potential.
  • You are comfortable taking on leadership responsibilities as a trusted advisor and team player.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leverage your clinical background to build trust with healthcare providers and communicate the device's value for diagnosing ear infections.
  • Drive customer acquisition by educating and guiding clinics through product trials, demos, and implementation.
  • Conduct hands-on product demonstrations, showing how to incorporate the device into existing workflows.
  • Regularly engage with customers, maintaining high satisfaction and expanding device usage.
  • Document activities in the CRM tool, ensuring accurate tracking of sales and customer interactions.
  • Stay informed about clinical trends in ear health and competitive products to be an expert resource for providers.
  • Actively participate in training sessions, developing your selling skills and staying up-to-date on our product offerings.
Qualifications
  • RN or healthcare background with 2-3 years of clinical experience; experience in pediatrics, ENT, or general practice is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of organizational skill and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory 25-50% of the time.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and a willingness to learn new software tools as needed.
