What You Will Do as a National Accounts Manager - Promo:
As a National Account Manager, your primary objective is to nurture and expand relationships within your portfolio of National Promotional Product Reseller accounts. This involves building strong partnerships with key contacts, developing targeted sales strategies, and driving business growth within existing accounts. Success in this role demands exceptional leadership skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a demonstrated history of effective account management within the Promotional Product Distribution market.
How You Will Make a Difference:
- Oversee and manage assigned National Promotional Product Distributor accounts, focusing on retaining existing business and expanding sales volume. Achieve these objectives by fostering strong relationships with key contacts, delivering product training, and creating and implementing strategic business plans.
- Address customer needs and requests by collaborating with internal teams to develop innovative programs, products, and processes that drive sales growth.
- Regularly monitor and analyze sales performance, providing insightful reports to senior management.
- Partner with marketing and product teams to ensure brand consistency and develop tailored marketing campaigns for clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to proactively identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- 5 years of sales experience in the promotional products industry
- BS degree in Business or related field
- Demonstrated experience managing and growing large, multi-location accounts
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize CRM (Saelsforce.com) and sales enablement platforms to support sales growth
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionality to drive sales growth
- Strong oral and written communication skills including the experience with public speaking
