Job Summary

As a National Accounts Manager at HD Supply, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with institutional customers, developing and executing business plans to grow sales and profitability, and driving sales through strategic planning and execution.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with institutional customers
  • Strategically plan customer visits to cultivate relationships, perform presentations, and offer innovative programs
  • Research and develop account opportunities, effectively communicating competitive strengths and developing strategies to acquire competitive business
  • Negotiate national contracts and rebate programs consistent with industry management goals
  • Team with individuals within sales and other key corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offer assistance to drive sales
Requirements
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
  • Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field or MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • Certification is required in some areas
Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area, with most of the time spent sitting in a comfortable position and frequent opportunity to move about. Overnight travel is required more than 50% of the time.
