The position works closely with a team of Assistant Property Managers and Maintenance Technicians.
Requirements:
  • Resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Professional, positive, and optimistic attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid staff management skills.
  • 2-5 years of property management experience.
  • General maintenance knowledge is a plus.
  • Must be tech savvy in navigating and utilizing various project management software - We work with G Suite, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Buildium, Asana, and T-Sheets (Quickbooks - Intuit).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Willingness to be on-call for night and weekend emergencies periodically.
  • A college degree is strongly preferred.
  • Reliable car and a valid driver's license with proof of insurance for minimal travel to on-site visits and inspections.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of Assistant Property Managers and Maintenance technicians.
  • Overseeing a portfolio of individual units, multi-family, and mixed-use properties for clients.
  • Coordinating and managing general maintenance, repairs, and construction with outside contractors and in-house technicians.
  • Ensuring quality control and compiling reporting packages.
  • Working with clients and ownership to stabilize occupancy, add value, generate cash flow, or position properties for a successful disposition.
  • Regularly communicating with property owners regarding daily operations and budgeting.
  • Negotiating leases and renewals with tenants.
  • Managing tenant compliance, performing lease audits, and occupancy verifications.
  • Collecting monthly rents, assessments, and security deposits
  • Addressing and resolving resident complaints and concerns to maintain good tenant relations
  • Overseeing rent collection and managing delinquent activity.
  • Conducting on-site visits and inspections.
  • Interacting with tenants regarding maintenance, rent collection, lease renewals, and turnovers.

Job Type:
  • Full-time position
  • Monday-Friday in-office, including one work-from-home day per week
