The ideal candidates will have a CDA, an Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Children & Families or a related field, as well at least two years experience working with young children, be a team player & have a passion for early learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan & implement daily lesson plans & activities.
  • Provide safe & engaging activities incorporating stories, music, games, etc that reflect the rich culture of native Spanish speakers home countries.
  • Provide an engaging environment for students, supporting children as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Have a CDA, Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Children & Families or a related field.
  • Two+ years experience working with young children, preferably toddlers.
  • Pass state, federal & child abuse background checks.
  • Be 18 years or older & able to work in the United States.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Be able to lift up to 40lbs, see, hear & sit on the floor with children.

Position Overview:
  • This is a full-time, year round position.
  • Pay range starts at $18.00 up to $20.00 (relative to experience & education) per hour with a pay increase based on performance & education at the end of a 90 day probation period.
  • Full-time staff also receive paid holidays, PTO, sick-time, dental or vision insurance, reduced child care & more.
  • Full-time staff work a four-day work week
