Beacon Technologies is seeking a Power BI Platform Administrator for our client partner. This is a 6-month contracted role.

Specific technical experience/language familiarity:

  • Extensive Power BI Administration experience; install, deploy, maintain – all in an IT/Technical capacity.
  • Power BI development skills.
  • Key teams that this role will interact with on a regular basis: Analytics Platform Administrator, Power BI Platform Developer, Manager, Consulting Analytics – Tech Devel., Consulting Analytics HCIA, C2 Informatics LLC (external consultant), Consulting Analytics Data Scientist.
  • Working with other technical staff dedicated to Power BI, this role will collaborate to perform duties necessary to install, deploy and maintain Power BI functionality, as well as document and/or train staff on key components necessary to install, deploy and maintain Power BI functionality.
  • Satisfaction of being the key knowledge holder on the tool with ability to drive decisions; excellent team dynamics to move quickly and efficiently through tasks; structured independence to do what they do best with guidance and support from manager.
  • Staff will shadow/buddy with Analytics Platform Administrator, Power BI Platform Developer, Manager, Consulting Analytics – Tech Devel. to quickly get up to speed on current state and go forward needs within the first few weeks; Support via scheduled weekly touch base meetings with manager, team check ins (weekly) and on-demand communication.
  • Successful completion of tasks to drive the enterprise install of Power BI to core functionality (outlined in detailed roadmap).
