Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café and wine bar, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. Manage inventory, handle ordering and supply chain logistics, and maintain equipment.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of baristas, servers, and other roles as needed. Foster a positive work environment, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service and address guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Implement service standards and ensure all staff adhere to them.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing sales data. Implement strategies to achieve sales targets and optimize profitability.
  • Menu Development: Create and update menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal trends. Ensure menu items are well-presented and meet quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a café and wine bar or a similar establishment.
  • Proven track record of successful team management and operational oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee and wine, including brewing techniques, wine pairings, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in financial management and experience with point-of-sale systems.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently moving and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
