The Full Time Accounting/Administrator position is responsible for maintaining timekeeping and scheduling systems as well as processing bi-weekly payroll in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Managing payroll process that includes importing, proofing, editing, processing, and transmitting all payroll wages, deductions, reimbursements, bonuses, commissions, garnishments, and manual payments consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.
  • Performing specific duties related to insurance plans, 401k, Union Dues and flexible spending, accounts reconciliation of accounts, and timely vendor payments.
  • Acquiring all necessary supporting documentation and approval letters from each Department.
  • Preparing invoices related to payroll and benefits and recording timely and accurately.
  • Preparing payroll reports and obtaining all supporting documents for Clients.
  • Assisting with General Accounting Tasks (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/OBJECTIVES:
  • Understanding all aspects of payroll in regard to payroll laws and regulations.
  • Managing workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately.
  • Providing excellent customer service to employees.
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
  • Knowledge of payroll software QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge of Paycor and ADP.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Accounting and/or Administrator role 4 years.
  • Payroll: 3 years (preferred). Scheduling: 2 years.
  • Advanced excel skills. Knowledge of formulas and reporting.
  • Paycor and ADP software experience a plus.
