The HR Manager is a key player in fostering a positive organizational culture, with responsibilities including managing compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee relations. This role is crucial in refining HR strategies to align with the organization's objectives, ensuring compliance, and enhancing employee satisfaction. The HR Manager will spearhead initiatives related to compensation frameworks, benefits management, and resolving employee concerns to promote a productive and engaged workforce.

Core Responsibilities:Compensation and Benefits:
  • Design, implement, and oversee compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Conduct market analysis to maintain competitive compensation structures.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other incentives.
  • Manage the annual compensation review and salary adjustment processes.
  • Ensure adherence to compensation-related regulations and reporting obligations.

Payroll Administration:
  • Supervise payroll processing to guarantee accuracy and punctuality in salary distribution.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and manage associated records, including tax filings and audits.

Employee Relations:
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace by addressing employee concerns and managing conflict resolution.
  • Implement employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.
  • Conduct investigations into complaints and disciplinary matters, ensuring impartial and consistent resolution.
  • Oversee exit interviews and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.

Recruitment and Staffing:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber candidates and meet organizational needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure seamless integration of new employees.

Performance Management:
  • Advise managers and employees on performance management techniques and best practices.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance employee performance.

Compliance and Policies:
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the effectiveness and compliance of HR practices.

Employee Engagement, Communications, and Training:
  • Develop strategies to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Manage internal communications to ensure clear and consistent messaging across the organization.
  • Provide opportunities for training and development to support career growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of HR experience, particularly in compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee relations.
    • At least 2 years in a managerial role.
    • Experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong expertise in compensation and benefits management.
    • Proven experience in payroll administration and employee relations.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Deep knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently.
  • Highly Desired (but not required):
    • Knowledge of Paycom HRIS.
    • Spanish-speaking abilities.
