  • Gather, Test, and Record Quality to Include: Durability, Bulk Density, Fines, PSD, Temperature, Moisture Content with A&D Meter, Moisture Content Oven, and Ash Content.
  • Must be familiar with Customer Quality Requirements and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to Understand SOP’s Surrounding Production. 
  • Ability to Properly Collect and Send 15-Day Composite Samples to Third Party Lab.
  • Perform Occasional Special-Projects Test to Either Investigate the Source of Issues or Study Possible Quality Improvements.
  • Work Collectively with the Control Room and Supervisors to Set Targets.
  • Ability to Explain What We Are Measuring and How Parameters Are Connected To One Another. 
  • Ensure All Work Is Performed in a Timely and Safe Manner.
  • Maintain All Equipment, Tools, and Workstations. 
  • Ability to Utilize Skills to Improve Equipment Optimization and Reliability.
  • Maintain Logs, Record Labor, Materials, and Equipment Used. 
  • Effectively Communicate to All Team Members and Management any Equipment Deficiencies.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail; Able to Follow Instructions Both Written and Verbal.
  • Participate in Breakdown Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Focused Improvement, And 5S Projects. 
  • Perform Other Related Duties as Assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education; Trade School or College Preferred.
  • Minimum 2 Years Relevant Work Experience as a Laboratory Technician Required.
  • One Year of Plant Manufacturing Experience.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making Skills to Generate and Implement Solutions Throughout the Process.
  • Proficient Computer Skills Required. 
  • Osha 10 Training and Experience.
  • Ability to Work Extended Hours to include nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
  • Ability to Work in Heights in Excess Of 80 Feet, Use Man Lifts, and Work in Confined Spaces.
  • Ability to Work Outdoors, Rotating Shifts, and Lift 50 Pounds Required.
