Key Responsibilities

• Inspire and guide a team of maintenance technicians to achieve peak performance and productivity.

• Offer direction, training, and mentorship to team members to encourage skill enhancement and career advancement.

• Oversee the implementation of the established maintenance schedule and take appropriate measures for any missed maintenance tasks.

• Conduct regular assessments of team performance and promptly address any challenges or concerns.

• Manage and coordinate all preventive maintenance (PM) initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.

• Work closely with the maintenance planner to effectively schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal impact on production timelines.

• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as necessary for specialized maintenance services or equipment repairs.

• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and accurate inventory levels in collaboration with relevant team members.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision or a comparable role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to effectively manage and nurture a diverse team.
  • Robust technical understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and equipment systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with an emphasis on root cause analysis.
