Overview:
DataStaff, Inc. (DSI) is looking to grow our Business Development team. We are seeking someone who has strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities. B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects for this opportunity, along with exceptional negotiation skills, team work and the ability to close deals.
The ideal candidate should have experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop our business strategy while retaining partnerships with your client base. Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
Duties:
- The Business Development Manager will need to understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which strategies can be used to attract client staffing solutions and long-term client partnerships.
- Collaborate with Recruiting and Operations departments to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Possess a strong understanding of our staffing solutions, our competition in the industry and positioning DSI in a true partnership collaboration.
- Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on competitors.
- Responsibility of weekly visiting of client/employee sites. To help facilitate a presence with both clients/employees to be proactive in managing any issues, so that DSI can be proactive with any issues.
- Assist in generating and maintaining account designated reports and sales activity reports. Help making sure accurate data is gathered (i.e. Excel reports and/or database).
- Working with the Sales and Executive Management with on-going RFP’s strategy and responses.
- Participating in on-going Business Development of assigned accounts, continued growth.
- Assisting in new and upcoming vendor registration for new Sales account activity.
Additional Duties:
- Assist when needed for additional pre-screening of candidates to industry standards with phone interviews, in-person interviews, and internet based interviews.
- Manage, filter, and maintain pipeline of qualified candidates to client business units throughout the nation.
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to find, search, and place qualified professionals that meet client needs.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a pool of candidates through ongoing networking, and using DSI’s database.
Skills and Specifications:
- Good knowledge of staffing principles and procedures.
- Must be good in managing, organizing and in prioritizing of tasks.
- Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
- Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner.
- Organizational skills
- Some travel required (local job-to job locations).
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel experience is a requirement.
- Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Staffing industry experience (5+ years) preferred or equivalent overall Business Development.
