*Position Overview:* We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to lead our real estate and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, construction, and land acquisitions, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing development strategies. This role will involve overseeing a variety of real estate projects, from initial acquisition to final disposition, and will require strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.

*Key Responsibilities:* - Develop and implement real estate and development strategies to achieve company objectives
- Identify and evaluate potential real estate opportunities, including land acquisitions, leasing, and property redevelopment
- Oversee all aspects of the development process, including market analysis, permitting, design, construction, and asset management
- Lead negotiations for leasing, subleasing, and property dispositions
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and government agencies
- Provide oversight and guidance to the real estate and development team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to inform decision-making and strategy development
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to ensure alignment and compliance with company goals and regulations
- Lead M&A activities related to real estate and development, including due diligence and integration efforts

*Qualifications:* - Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on commercial real estate
- Proven track record of successful real estate projects, including acquisitions, leasing, and dispositions
- Strong understanding of construction, land use, and zoning regulations- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Proficient in market analysis and financial modeling
- Experience with asset management and property maintenance
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- High level of strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with real estate laws and regulations
- Willingness to travel as needed for project oversight and meetings with stakeholders.
