Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for indirect spend categories, including IT, marketing, facilities, and professional services.
  • Align procurement strategies with overall company objectives to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals and performance metrics for the procurement team.

Supplier Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.

Process Optimization:

  • Streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Implement best practices in procurement, including the use of technology and data analytics to inform decision-making.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor and manage indirect procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives and opportunities for value creation.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and senior management, to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Communicate procurement strategies and initiatives effectively across the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing indirect procurement categories.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
