Internship Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Commercial Strategy team for a 3-month internship. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in hotel program sourcing. Although we are a fully remote team, this internship will require to make yourself available for some in-person workdays.


Responsibilities:

• Research 2025 hospitality industry trends

• Set up the RFP tool for the programs we will be managing in 2025

• Collect and analyse past-year volume and trends per client

• Launch and manage the RFPs to ensure timely response and fluid communication with the hotels and the National Account Managers

• Manage the communication with the hotels (find the right contacts, follow up on delayed answers, submit negotiation requests)

• Pull the reports and analyse the bids received from the hotel

• Help in the preparation of client-facing documents to present strategy, recommendations and projected savings

• Finalize the agreements with the properties and update documentation

• Create and communicate the Hotel Directories per client

• Pull the reports and coordinate the loading and visibility of the preferred hotels

• Prepare rate audit documentation


Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Tourism and Hospitality business management

• Previous experience in a client-facing or vendor-facing activity

• Comfortable to use Excel and Power-Point

• Thorough, methodical and very detail-oriented

• Comfortable to interact with vendors in a professional manner


Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in hotel revenue strategies

• Knowledge in negotiation tactics

• Excellent verbal and written skills in English, bonus for French
