Staffing Sales Representative

My client is seeking a driven, enthusiastic Staffing Sales Manager to drive temporary staffing services within the light industrial/manufacturing sectors. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Staffing Sales Manager will strive to develop existing accounts as well as develop new business in New Jersey.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Execute sales strategy by identifying customer needs and selling the appropriate staffing and talent delivery solutions for their needs including contract and contract-to-hire placements.
  • Develop business through multiple marketing and sales techniques including, but not limited to, sourcing new customer contacts and leading and conducting in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Communicate regularly with customers regarding job specifications, candidate submissions, interviews, feedback, and job offers.
  • Maintain an understanding of the customers' businesses by recognizing customer needs and creating strong relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales top-line revenue and gross margin goals as defined by management.
  • Adhere to sales process including, but not limited to, pipeline development and accurate forecasting.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, fees, and solutions.
  • Communicate with hiring managers regarding current consultants' performance.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience selling temporary staffing agency services.
  • Knowledge of computer and networking labor trends and technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple + active accounts while continuing to prospect to add new accounts.
  • Highly motivated with excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under deadline pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment in decision-making with a results-driven orientation.
  • Ability to participate as a team member as well as a leader in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion and aptitude for learning technology.
