PRODUCT & PROCESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, NORTH AMERICA


Interacting with the key stakeholders (Project Managers, D&D, Laboratories, Quality, Regulatory, Customers and Consultants) actively contributes to a flawless launch of new and modified products, through risk management approach and through the execution/coordination of the most appropriate processes for industrialization. Coordinates the testing laboratories and the product certification activities.



Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the product risk management (including design FMEA sessions)
  • Coordinate the gathering of information about new products/technologies through external professional’s network
  • Identify the CTC (Critical to Customer) and CTQ (Critical to Quality) parameters for new products
  • Define and coordinate the execution of the validation test plans (POD + TSPR) and the relative test reports
  • Lead the design review processes, together with other team members, to meet the product requirements
  • Define the QC plans with the support of the Quality team and the Project Manager.
  • Analyze the information about market failures and drive the product improvement, with the support of the team members (risk mitigation)
  • Participate in the standard review meeting and share evolution and new requirements within the Company
  • Coordinate and manage the work in the Divisional laboratory sites, assuring that all tests and external certifications meet project schedules and the required quality level
  • Key contact with external Laboratories, leading the compliance to the new applicable international standards (e.g.: IEC, UL, ISTA, ASTM, etc.)
  • Write and/or reviews the internal laboratory procedures and the operating standards (i.e., laboratory guidelines and procedures, test method,)
  • Identify and define product industrialization process, follow up on projects and activities aimed at product definition and launch.
  • Define the yearly CAPEX investments for the different Laboratories according to the project’s portfolio, Company strategy and the technology evolution
  • Lead and execute the yearly internal quality audits in all the Divisional D&D centers and help in defining correct internal D&D procedures and Application (also supporting internal - external D&D audits).


Requirements:

  • Fluency in English
  • Technical education – Engineering, Chemistry or similar
  • 8 +years Product Development (Formulations and Processes) in FMCG industry. (Laundry Care, Toilet Care, Home Cleaning).
