About the Job

The Director of Talent Acquisition is a strategic and dynamic leader responsible for developing and executing innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent to the YMCA of Greater San Francisco. This position plays a critical role in building a high-performing workforce that supports the YMCA's mission and goals. The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead a team of recruiters and work closely with organizational leaders to ensure staffing needs are met with high-quality hires. This position is on-site.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Working Conditions
  • This position is based in San Francisco, with occasional travel to various YMCA of San Francisco branch locations throughout the Bay Area as needed.
  • The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to support recruitment events and activities.
