Overview

The Sales Executives responsible for our public sector customers are driven by our mission to make the world a safer place. We support State and Local Governments to disrupt criminal operations, reduce illicit activity, recover funds for victims, and understand and monitor the digital asset landscape.

Our Sales Executives for the public sector have existing and trustworthy reputations within government customers and prospects, and are experts on navigating complex procurement processes. We measure success by new business and account expansion revenue.

Requirements

  • Surpass your sales targets and significantly expand our presence in the state and local law enforcement and regulatory sectors through strategic and persistent prospecting and developing your sales pipeline.
  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies that lead to predictable and steadily increasing quarterly forecasts.
  • Develop a diverse pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent and accurate forecasting.
  • Help us develop compelling product positioning and messaging specific to agencies’ mission, competitive drivers, sales channels, and more
  • Build trust-based relationships with our customers, leading to network referrals that enhance Bitquery's brand awareness.

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • A background in B2B SaaS sales, particularly with customers and prospects in state and local government; specific experience in law enforcement, investigations, proprietary data, or cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Previous experience working within government agencies.
  • Experience managing the entire sales process, from discovery calls to contract negotiation to closing deals.
  • Experience working with systems integrators, resellers, distributors, and other partners to expand our market reach locally.
  • Expertise in maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales hygiene and forecasting using tools like Hubspot.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% within the Central territory and across the U.S. based on customer and business needs.
