Job Summary

Central Synagogue is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and inclusive community that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including calendar management, expense reporting, and travel coordination.
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, including strategic planning and recruiting.
  • Manage the Executive Director's inbox and respond to emails independently when possible.
  • Oversee the receptionist and ensure all correspondence is replied to promptly.
  • Manage Board activities, including scheduling and coordination of meetings, agendas, and minutes.
  • Develop and distribute the annual calendar for all staff and board events.
  • Participate in High Holy Days administration and support coordination across administrative teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of administrative support experience, with experience supporting senior executives.
  • High level of computer literacy, with proven ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM is strongly preferred.
What We Offer

Central Synagogue offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience. We also offer an extensive benefits package and a hybrid schedule with one day remote on Monday and four days in the office.
