Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Administrative Assistant & Payroll Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our General Manager and Owner, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best. Your responsibilities will include a variety of administrative matters related to the operation of the hotel and restaurant. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for accounts payable, ensuring invoices are processed on a timely basis
  • Ensuring payroll information is entered correctly and process bi-weekly payroll and related items
  • Verity time & attendance for bi-weekly payroll
  • Perform duties related to hiring and set up of new employees
  • Assist with staff scheduling
  • Assist with the handling of the Hotel and Cafe deposits
  • Assist the front desk when needed with greeting, check-in and check-out of guests
  • Assist with other hotel and caf operations as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required, Associates degree or administrative training is preferred
  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Payroll Clerk, Accounts Payable or in a similar position preferred
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
