About Our Company:
Founded in 2014 by Todd Dawalt, Construction Leading Edge began as a podcast aimed at helping construction business owners. Todd's goal was to create resources he wished were available during his own challenging experience running a construction business.
After years of hosting the podcast and gradually building an audience, Construction Leading Edge transformed into a full-time coaching business in 2018. Since then, the podcast has been downloaded over 1.7 million times, and our team has worked with over 300 construction business owners to help them systematize their businesses.

Job Description:
As a Construction Business Coach, you will guide construction business owners through our 8-week Systematize Your Construction Business program. Your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional coaching and support, helping clients implement effective systems and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Exceptional Coaching:
- Deliver high-quality coaching sessions to construction business owners.
- Assist clients in identifying challenges and developing actionable solutions.
- Tailor coaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Respond promptly to support tickets, submitted work, and questions.
- Provide the right level of accountability customized to the client's needs.
Attend Weekly Group Calls:
- Participate in and contribute to weekly group coaching calls.
- Facilitate discussions, share insights, and provide feedback to clients.
- Ensure clients are engaged during group sessions.
Proactively Engage with Clients:
- Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication.
- Schedule and conduct 1:1 coaching calls at specified milestones to address specific client needs.
- Monitor client progress and provide ongoing support and motivation.
Be Enthusiastic and Excited About Client Results:
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for client success.
- Celebrate client achievements and milestones.
- Foster a positive and encouraging coaching environment.
Promote Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in construction business management.
- Continuously improve coaching methodologies and tools.
- Share knowledge and resources with clients to enhance their business operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business coaching, preferably in the construction industry.
- Experience working with homebuilders, remodelers, and commercial general contractors.
- Strong understanding of construction business operations and systematization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their goals.
- Proactive, organized, and results-oriented mindset.
