Job Description

Our mission at The Baseball Center NYC is to create quality recreational, travel ball, and high school baseball players. We approach our time with each individual and team with well-constructed practice plans and a constant belief in our players as they learn to believe in themselves.

We are seeking a Baseball Instructor & Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baseball and a strong ability to teach and mentor players of all ages and skill levels.

The Baseball Instructor & Coach will be responsible for providing private, group, and/or team baseball instruction in a manner aligned with our mission, approach, and business strategy. This includes assisting or leading activities required to maintain our facility, adhering to our schedules, and being prompt and prepared for each practice, game, lesson, and/or camp.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field, and at least two years of coaching experience for recreational, travel, or middle school/high school baseball. They will also have current proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and be able to serve as a member of our front desk team, scheduling sessions, client interfacing, and utilizing our POS system (Square).

Key working relationships include our Asst. Manager, Programs & Leagues, Head Coach, Client Coordinators, and Coaching Staff. The Managing Director will provide strategic direction and performance management.
