Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Summary
The Human Resources Associate is responsible for assisting the department in the crucial and necessary process of internal document keeping as well as maintaining all confidential employee documentation. The HR Associate will be taking directives from the Director of Human Resources and support a 350+ employee population and growing. This position requires excellent organization and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Responsibilities:
Support the organization with fully utilizing our ADP HRIS system for onboarding, benefits orientations and enrollments, training, and development curriculum cataloging and implementation of training programs. Administer and track FMLA events as well as workers compensation process flow. Assist with employee related questions. Take a programmatic approach to HR projects and take each project to completion and implement desired goal. Upload and scan employee reviews and career development plans into HRIS system. Track development plans and prompt managers to perform timely quality conversation and touch points. Provide technical and coordination support to enable a holistic onboarding process. Manage candidate profiles and assist hiring managers with interview preparation. Source talent through industry based veterinary sources and organizations. Maintain Indeed presence with current postings by refreshing regularly. Partner with Recruiting and Orientation Manager to assist with bi-weekly orientations.
Experience and Education:
1-2 years of human resource administrative experience required
Intrinsic and uncompromising drive to excel.
Experience with HR Software (ADP preferred)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage and meet deadlines.
Proficient in grammar, spelling and editing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to promote teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, collaborative and customer focused work environment.
Full-time with Medical/Dental/Vision offered; CE allowance, 401K, paid time off and discounted veterinary care.
