Job Title: Full-Time Sales Associate

Location: Shelby, NC

Salary: $15.00 per hour + Aggressive Commission Structure (post-training)

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Full-Time Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior retail experience, outstanding customer service skills, and a proven track record in sales. This role requires a dependable individual with managerial experience, the ability to multi-task effectively, and a passion for people and learning. This position offers a competitive hourly rate with an aggressive commission structure post-training, as well as opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide expert knowledge on furniture products, including materials, dimensions, and features.
  • Help customers select furniture that meets their needs and preferences.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain the showroom's appearance by organizing products and ensuring displays are presentable.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
  • Assist in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail experience is required; furniture sales experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Managerial experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner with a proactive attitude towards acquiring new skills.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must provide 3-5 professional references.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage of $15.
  • Aggressive commission structure beginning after completion of training.
  • Opportunities bonuses, as well as advancement within the company.
  • Eligible for One Week of PTO after completing one year of employment.
