What we are looking for:

A highly organized, detail-oriented Compliance and Coding Admin, who will be instrumental in supporting multiple projects and processes within our Compliance department. This role will be responsible for administrative tasks including provider licensure applications, medical record requests, and medical coding work. Our ideal candidate is dedicated to quality control and compliance, comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines, and working in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Support multiple projects in the monitoring, quality control and support of key initiatives such as (but not limited to):

    • MIPS Training/Performance Monitoring (all states)

    • OSHA Compliance (office plan creation/annual meetings); office support

    • Provider Medical License monitoring

    • Location Business License monitoring/renewals

    • Assist Clinical Operations Director with Epiphany Dermatology Report Cards

    • Entry level Medical Coding based on experience (processing medical claim information through our EMR system using knowledge of CPT and ICD codes ensuring the accuracy in our medical claim information).

    • Medical Record Requests (Payer - Risk Adjustments)

    • Duplicate Chart reconciliation

  • Research changes in regulatory requirements/policies relevant to Epiphany business..

  • Handle incoming calls, paperwork, and emails efficiently. File according to the departmental process when completed.

  • Manage and assist with special projects to completion, collaborating with others as needed.

  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information.

  • Respond to questions or complaints in order to immediately resolve. Provide documentation on unresolved issues and refer to the appropriate party for resolution.

  • Adhere and implement policies, procedures and protocols related to billing, medical coding, and compliance.

  • Other duties as assigned.

It’ll help to have/be:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly organized

  • Effective planning and priority setting. Able to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Strong administrative and project management skills.


Qualifications/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Two (2) years related experience in compliance and/or quality control.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

  • Medical Coding Certificate preferred

  • Ability to travel as needed for clinic visits, training, etc.


Work environment and physical requirements:

Administrative office may have minimum visits to medical offices with possible exposure to procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
