Renewal Health Group is currently looking for an experienced Treatment Center Admissions Closer/Manager

As an Admission Manager you have a profound opportunity to transform the life of an individual suffering from addiction, mental illness and eating disorders. In this role you provide professional evaluation of Montare Behavioral Health affiliate services to potential clients and/or family members. This includes taking calls, accepting inquiries from individuals referred to Montare Behavioral Health, explaining services and related costs, conducting telephonic intakes, and providing guidance on federal regulations.

**Position Overview:**

As a Mental Health and Substance Use Admissions Closer, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the admission process for individuals seeking treatment for mental health disorders and substance abuse issues. You will serve as a crucial link between clients, their families, healthcare providers, and treatment facilities to ensure a smooth transition into appropriate care.


**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Assessment and Determination of Care Needs:

  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance abuse history of potential clients.
  • Determine the appropriate level of care (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, residential) based on assessment findings, clinical guidelines, and insurance coverage.

2. Consultation and Discussion:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and referring healthcare providers to discuss treatment options and recommendations.
  • Provide information about treatment programs, facility capabilities, and expected outcomes to help clients make informed decisions.

3. Coordination and Planning:

  • Arrange and coordinate admissions to treatment facilities, ensuring all necessary paperwork and approvals are completed.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for treatment.

4. Support and Advocacy:

  • Serve as an advocate for clients throughout the admission process, addressing concerns and providing emotional support as needed.
  • Educate clients and families about the treatment process, including expectations, rules, and regulations of the facility.

5. Documentation and Follow-Up:

  • Maintain accurate records of client assessments, communications, and admission details in compliance with confidentiality and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow up with clients post-admission to ensure their needs are being met and to address any issues that may arise.

  • Experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment settings, preferably in admissions or case management roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately and effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of mental health disorders, substance abuse treatment modalities, and relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple admissions simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**

  1. Hiring is contingent upon completion of a background check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Clean driving record and current first aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire. Additional requirements include receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption and a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508). Clean Background is a must.
