Function: Under direct supervision, the HR Generalist at Clear Administration plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive HR support to Clear Construction, Clear Architecture, and Clear Millwork. This multifaceted position involves a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring effective HR operations across these diverse divisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate selection.
- Conduct onboarding sessions to integrate new employees into the organization.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive work environment.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to resolve workplace issues.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their benefits.
Leave Management:
- Oversee requests and documentation for various types of leave, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Track and manage employee leave balances.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all divisions.
- Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments.
HRIS and Data Management:
- Maintain and update the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee records.
- Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making.
Performance Management:
- Support performance appraisal processes, including goal setting and performance reviews.
- Assist managers in addressing performance issues and implementing improvement plans.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate training programs and professional development initiatives.
- Identify training needs and provide resources to enhance employee skills.
HR Policy and Procedure Implementation:
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Communicate HR policies to employees and ensure understanding.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Support company-wide HR initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Administrative team to implement process improvements.
Overall, the HR Generalist is vital in maintaining a productive, compliant, and employee-friendly work environment.

Qualification Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and ability required. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all HR-related tasks.
Certifications:
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
