Senior Human Resources Generalist

Claire Myers Consulting is seeking a seasoned and results-driven HR executive to join our team as the Senior Human Resources Generalist. This pivotal role will play a key part in shaping our organization's human capital strategy, fostering a positive workplace culture, implementing transparent and efficient HR processes and systems, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Collaborate with senior leadership to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee development initiatives that align with our organization's overall mission, goals, and objectives.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and promotes employee engagement.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent, and develop and implement strategies for employee retention and professional development.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and mitigate HR-related risks by implementing proactive measures to maintain a compliant and ethical work environment.
  • Performance Management: Implement and manage performance evaluation processes to drive employee development and organizational success, and provide guidance and support to managers in performance management and employee feedback.
  • Talent Development and Strategy: Implement and manage strategic talent development programs and initiatives that align the talent strategy to our organization's strategy, and collaborate with finance to ensure the financial sustainability of HR programs.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a strategic Human Resources Leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification preferred (example: SPHR or PHR)
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation
  • $95k - $105k base salary
