Job DescriptionJob DescriptionScheduling specialist shall primarily be assigned to work at mobile health units and community centers and is required to travel to various clinical sites throughout Harris County. Specific duties and specialties shall be dependent on assignments.
  • The Scheduling Specialist must understand the needs of requesting partners to determine the correct service location, and the amount of time needed for each event, and coordinate the best time for the community partners.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism while managing multiple calls and email requests.
  • Responsible for managing confirmed dates, rescheduling, cancelations, and identifying the best alternative dates if the requested date is unavailable.
  • Reviewing schedules to provide available dates to partners of interest, scheduling in advance, and
  • submitting confirmed emails to internal and external partners regarding their Immunization event.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or GED required
  • Preferred Bilingual skills in another language in addition to English preferred
