Job Title: Compliance Lead

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for maintaining Federal and State Liquor licenses and DTC License across our portfolios.
    1. Coordinating and gathering required documents across all stakeholders.
    2. Maintaining the appropriate SoS and Bonds as needed in each market.
    3. Timely submissions keeping State License up to date and avoiding fees.
  • Oversee the submissions of all Brand Labels across the country.
    1. Utilizing ShipCompliant or appropriate state level packets and territory agreements.
  • Advise peers on the rules and regulations ranging in topic from wine labels to consumer events.
    1. Communicating with the TTB to understand permissible verbiage and designs.
    2. Research new business opportunities
    3. Staying up to date on regulatory changes to ensure compliance across portfolio.
  • Communicate New Product Launches and Program announcements to our sales team and distributor partners.
  • Responsible for all international compliance needed to export our products.
    1. Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Free Sale, and USMCA documentation as needed.
  • New Item Forms (NIFs), maintenance, and creating items in our third-party systems.
    1. VIP Item Catalog, NABCA, Southern Glazers NIR’s, and eRNDC.
  • Requesting COLA Waivers for imported sample items.
  • Maintain USDA certifications for our manufacturing facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Self-starter and willingness to create new processes and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2 years of compliance related experience (wine and spirits is preferred).
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.

The applicant must be flexible, professional, highly motivated, and must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
