As a Part-time, Front Desk Associate at the Lighthouse Club at Coastal Club, you are responsible for the operations of the reception area. You will have the responsibility to work with our customers as they come into our clubhouse, pools, and fitness center. The primary goal of providing service and support so that our members and guests with optimal experience by greeting, engaging and thanking all looking for help and services we can provide. The same is true for new homeowners as they seek to get acclimated and integrated into our community. All of this should equate to the superior customer experience we strive for.


The front desk is a busy place encompassing greeting and helping all as well as:

o Answering phones in a timely manner.

o Registering guests and assuring cardholders swipe scanner and of proper age before entering our broader amenities.

o This is a multitasking role requiring “multiple hats” to prioritize and work with our customers to achieve the optimal outcome experience they and we seek.

o Evening, weekend and holiday work hours are required


Detailed Responsibilities

o Work directly with Front Desk Supervisor and the Front Desk Team.

o Welcome members and guests into clubhouse – “Greet-Engage-Thank”

o Provide assistance in answering incoming customer questions and needs

o Answer all phone calls promptly and work to answer questions presented.

o Work with Front Desk Manager to be available for front desk coverage to provide full availability of our services for all hours that the clubhouse is open and fully operational.

  • Maintain proper appearance and upkeep of the reception area.
  • Assure all entering swipe their member cards or manually enter their id numbers. For pool access, verify they have our wristbands or temporary wristbands on before entering.
  • Process guest registrations and passes
  • Assure Coffee Bar upkeep and supply levels
  • Assist Front Desk Manager with regular testing of pool chemical levels. Alert manager to any variances that may arise
  • Count end-of-day cash register receipts and run daily report for management.
