Position Summary:They are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Vice President (EVP) of Wealth Management to join their leadership team. The EVP will play a pivotal role in overseeing the companys operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence. This position is designed with a succession plan in mind, preparing the EVP to transition into the CEO role within the next 3-5 years.


Compensation Pkg: Base + Commission + Bonus + Shares/Equity

Responsibilities:

Develop new client relationships and support business development efforts.

Gather and analyze client data to understand and define their financial planning and investment needs and objectives.

Advise clients on investment strategy, tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, stock options, charitable giving strategies, insurance, and risk management.

Review and analyze clients current financial situations.

Design long-term investment strategies and appropriate asset allocation with clients.

Implement and monitor investment portfolios and asset allocations.

Work with third-party service providers across tax, trust & estate, and insurance specialties.

Guide clients on leveraging each third-party effectively and at the right time.

Oversee daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute the companys strategic plan.

Advise the Product Development team on operational pain points to build the best technology platform tailored to client needs.

Support the M&A team in business development efforts when sourcing, pitching, and closing other prospective advisors.

Set performance goals and metrics for operational teams.

Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and financial reporting.

Ensure financial targets are met and maintain financial stability.

Work closely with the CEO to understand the companys vision and leadership requirements.

Prepare to transition into the CEO role within the next 3-5 years.

Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that aligns with company values.

Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and development.

Requirements/Preferences:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of senior operational roles, with a track record of success in managing and scaling operations within the wealth management or financial services industry.

Certifications/Licenses: CFP/CFA, Series 6, 7, 65, and 63 licenses, and Texas Health and Life Insurance license Preferred

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.

Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Client Interfacing: Experience in conducting financial workshops and seminars, and a high degree of comfort with public speaking and client interaction.

Experience in working with fintech or technology-driven companies is preferred.

An existing client book of business actively advised today.

Depth of knowledge in at least one key area of financial planning.

Entrepreneurial Spirit: A desire to succeed in a performance-oriented environment.

A network of personal and professional contacts within the local area for referrals.

Familiarity with E-Money and RedTail is beneficial.
