Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of all vehicles in stock.
  • Track inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile them with computerized records to identify discrepancies.
  • Maintain and up date inventory controls.
  • Maintain display area and lot on a constant basis.
  • Help generate reports on inventory turnover and aging inventory for management analysis.
  • Ensure and verify proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Organize and arrange inventory for easy accessibility and efficient workflow. Work closely with sales, service, and parts departments to fulfill customer requests and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Inspect incoming vehicles for any damages, discrepancies, and number of keys, then report to the appropriate department.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling and storing automotive inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards related to inventory management.
  • Identify and resolve inventory-related issues, such as discrepancies, shortages, or overages.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance inventory control and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in automotive technology or business management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to inventory handling.
  • Physical stamina for constant inventory display management..
  • Prior experience in automotive inventory management is preferred.
